Dr. Saviana Gandolfo is a board-certified Rheumatologist with clinical and research experience in Rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs), with a specific focus on Sjögren disease (SjD). She has held both clinical and academic positions and currently works at the Rheumatology Unit of Hospital del mare, Naples, IT, and as Research collaborator at the Rheumatology Section of University of Campania “L. Vanvitelli”, Naples, IT. Dr. Gandolfo has built extensive expertise in the clinical management of patients with RMDs, and in particular SjD, and in SjD clinical and translational research, with main involvement in the study of immune system dysregulation, biomarker development, patient stratification, and innovative clinical endpoints. She is involved in both national multicenter studies and international projects, collaborative initiatives across Europe, also with leading roles. Dr. Gandolfo has served as PI and Investigator in multiple clinical trials in SjD and other RMDs. She is author of numerous scientific publications and has presented her work at major national and international rheumatology congresses, serving also as an invited speaker. Her contributions have been recognized with sector awards and distinctions. contributes to expert consensus groups, driving progress in research, precision medicine and Sjogren disease care.
