As a rheumatologist, my primary research focus is on systemic sclerosis. I concentrate on biomarkers related to disease activity and fibrosis, including semaphorins, lysyl oxidase, regulatory B and T cells, and RNA sequencing. I am also a pioneer in Israel in the treatment of systemic sclerosis using autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, and I explore the immune system changes that occur during and after this procedure.
