Dr. Liebowitz is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. He attended Johns Hopkins University and completed his undergraduate degree in May of 2009 and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He attended Medical School at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in June of 2016, where he was selected as Chief Resident. He completed his Rheumatology fellowship at Johns Hopkins in June of 2019 and was nominated for the 2019 Distinguished Fellow Award from the American College of Rheumatology. His research has been published in JAMA, The New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA Internal Medicine, The Journal of Rheumatology, The American Journal of Medicine, and Medical Humanities. He is also co-editor of the textbook Clinical Innovation in Rheumatology: Past, Present and Future.
