My research interest focuses on the mechanisms that regulate differentiation of osteoclasts, osteoblasts and bone remodeling in both physiological and pathological conditions, especially in the inflammatory settings such as rheumatoid arthritis. Our long term goal is to develop new therapeutic approaches to suppress pathological bone resorption and repair skeletal damage based on our discoveries of pathogenic mechanisms and drug targets.
