I am an assistant professor of medicine at Duke University with clinical expertise in rheumatology-oncology overlap, specifically working with the Duke Cancer Institute taking care of patients with rheumatic disease and cancer and patients who suffer from rheumatic immune related adverse events (IRAEs) secondary to immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy. I am also the director of rheumatology education for the Duke Internal Medicine Residency program, working to introduce rheumatology concepts early in the training program.
