I am a Pediatric rheumatologist and early stage investigator in basic and translational research. My research focuses on understanding how biological sex and other factors affect the innate immune system and influence the systemic autoimmunity risk. I am conducting research at the National Institute of Arthritis Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases at the National Institutes of Health as Henry Metzger Scholar in Translational Research under the mentorship of Dr. Mariana Kaplan.
